The gifts have been unwrapped, the guests have all gone dwelling house, and the house is finally quiet. Now I'g sitting here admiring the tree ? with my favorite gentleman tabby while sipping a cup of tea and listening to the crackling of the Netflix yule log ? on Boob tube.

Information technology was a good Christmas for Tabs. He seemed relieved when we left him in command of the firm yesterday afternoon while we went to visit my parents in the East Bay. Honestly, I call back he cherished the solitary time, because when we got dorsum dwelling house this morning and he saw that we brought dorsum Connor, Tabs had a familiar look on his confront that said, "Oh, I meet you brought her back… Great."

I think he hopes that we'll come up back one day and he'll exist an but kid again, fifty-fifty though I keep explaining to him that she's a permanent fellow member of our ? ? family. "She'southward your younger sister, Tabs," I tell him, merely he isn't quite convinced.

He's been very overnice to her lately, though. I think information technology'southward considering he's feeling the Christmas spirit. ?

Information technology was another successful Christmas because 1) the tree remained standing (i.e. Tabs didn't knock it over, again), and ii) I don't retrieve he drank the muddied water from the base of the tree. Or, he did drink the dirty water from the base of the tree, only he was ameliorate well-nigh hiding it.
